Vintage Card with Xyron & DCWV

| Blog, DCWV, Xyron

Hello again!

If you saw my post from yesterday you will know this week I have been playing with some gorgeous products from DCWV and of course using Xyron adhesives.

Here is a card I have made to coordinate with the frame from yesterday!

I used some corrugated card from DCWV and painted parts of it with acrylic paint.  I then used papers from the Brooklyn stack.  It is such a fabulous range and although it looks like it is kind of masculine when you use it it creates a romantic soft effect.  I love working with this range.  To adhere the card I have used the 5″ Creative Station and the Clear Hold Adhesive and Foam Squares from the Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit.  Again all the edges have been inked to give a lovely soft vintage feel.

That’s all from me today!

Have a wonderful weekend whatever you’re doing!

Until next time…

Happy Crafting!

Burlap Frame with Xyron & DCWV

| Blog, DCWV, Xyron

Hello there …

This week I have been lucky enough to be playing with some gorgeous goodies from DCWV and of course using Xyron adhesives to create my project.

I love burlap and the natural effects you can get from it.  I decided for my project to use it in a wooden frame to set off the natural Browns and Creams.

The wedding photograph was perfect for this project as it has a romantic feel!

The burlap was attached to the back of the frame using the Teresa Collins Mega Runner.  All of the other layers were run through the 5″ Creative Station.

The papers were the Brooklyn Stack from DCWV as was the burlap.  Lots of the edges have been inked to give a vintage feel.

Now all I need to do is go find somewhere to hang my new picture!  I am seriously running out of space!

Tomorrow I will be back with a coordinating card!

Until Then…

Happy Crafting!
