Sizzix Dream Away Projects

| Blog, Sizzix

Hi there…

My recent shows on Hochanda featured my favourite die this year and that is some task as I have so many favourites but when I saw this I fell in love!

What is it I hear you ask?

It is the Sizzix Thinlits Die Set Dream Away designed by the very talented Sophie Guilar.  She has designed some incredible dies this year and each one is so popular on my shows.

Dream Away

Not only is this such a pretty die but it is also so versatile.  You can use the circle element as decoration and the feathers are perfect to go on so many paper crafting projects.

Here are a few of the projects I have made so far!

This one has an inked background and I have used Tim Holtz Ink Stain Spray to add to specks of colour.  I also went over the whole thing with a mica spray powder to give some sparkle.

This second card is layered onto black cardstock that has again been spritzed with Tim Holtz Ink Stain Spray in gold and picket fence.  I die-cut the dream catcher and all the feathers and then covered them in building flakes.

Again a spritzed background but the whole card was made from white cardstock!  The background was created using the Tim Holtz Ink Stain Spray which really makes the white dream catcher stand out.  To add a bit of detail I added sequins and adhesive stones.

This card is totally different as I only used the feather elements for this.  It just shows how effective they can be on their own.

I would love to know which is your favorite and why.  Don’t forget you can catch me on the Sizzix blog every Monday at 9am for more Sizzix inspiration!
