Paperworld 2015 – Part 1

| Blog, Craft Asylum, Sizzix

As many of you know I was lucky enough to be working with Sizzix on their amazing stand at Paperworld in Frankfurt last month.  It was an amazing show and so many wonderful companies got together to show their upcoming products.

I didn’t get too much time to look around so the post is mainly showing how wonderful the Sizzix stand looked.  I might be slightly biased but it really was the best dressed stand there.

I am so lucky to be working with such a talented bunch of people and I am amazed by their incredible talent in creating the most amazing projects.

As you can see the Sizzix stand really was fantastic, both the inside and outside.  This one  shows the outside of the lifestyle area.  All of the flowers you see here are made from paper using Sizzix dies and were created by the incredibly talented Debi Potter.

Inside the lifestyle area were so many items made using dies from the Sizzix collection.  It just goes to show what can be done with them.  I have now shown this to my poor husband and told him I want him to replicate this in our lounge!

This is a very exciting picture and for many of you it will be the first glimpse you get of the new Big Shot Plus due out in March.  I have had the pleasure of using it over the past couple of weeks and I have to say it really is the best die cutting machine … EVER! More on that soon!

This is me at my make and take table where I sat for 4 days making felt flower broaches.  I got to meet so many lovely people and the time just flew by!

Here are the broaches we were making.  They were designed by the amazingly talented Pete Hughes.  I think I probably made 100 of these over the 4 days!!

Here is the Craft Asylum stand showing all of the latest products.  They are all so lovely and if you look closely you will see many of the projects I have created.

I got to work with the lovely Paula Pascual and Elena Roche, you can see both demonstrating here.  They are wonderfully talented and lovely people!

It was an incredible experience and one I hope to repeat.  The Sizzix stand was so large I will be back tomorrow to share the rest of the pictures with a sneak peak of some amazing products hitting the shops soon.
