A Touch of Spring…

| Blog

Hello there!

After all these terrible stoms we have been having I decided to work on a little springtime project. The weather down here in the South West has been terrible.

I have recently joined the design team for My Scrap Chick.  As you all know I love die-cutting and working with my Silhouette is no exception, so when I was asked to join this design team I jumped at the chance!  For those of you who don’t know My Scrap Chick design the most fantastic SVG files that can be cut on a range of machines.

Today I chose these fantastic Spring Faces

In total there are 4 faces each full of cuteness! Each face has been cut from various coloured cardstock, inked and pieced together.

I have used Echo Park papers with them to set off the vibrant colours.

Here are some close up pictures of each card

I often get asked about the Silhouette and how to use certain files.  I will posting some tutorials soon to show how they work and the amazing results you can get.  As soon as I get the chance it is the next thing on my long list!

If you have any questions in the meantime please feel free to contact me.

Now it is time to start packing as I am off to the trade show at the Birmingham NEC so I will be back later in the week with some pictures to share with you.

Until then…

Happy Crafting x

These are FABULOUS!! I just joined as a follower of your blog!! I do not have a Cameo … YET … I have a Cricut and Make the Cut … I know ~ old school. However, I haven’t done much with it … more a collector of files than a user. My goal this year is to learn how to use what I have. So, your mention of tutorials is FANTASTIC … I LOVE My Scrap Chick files, and have been hoping that someone would come along to teach me how to use them.

I am also struggling with sizes. In the future, only if you think about it and it is not too much trouble, it would be so AWESOME if you posted the sizes of your cuts.

Thank you so much for this inspiration. I look forward to your future posts!!
