Sizzix samples – 3D Flower

| Blog, Create and Craft TV, Sizzix

I have been having an amazing time working with the new dies from Sizzix in preparation for the Create and Craft show last Sunday. This week I will be sharing some of the samples and demonstrations from the show, as I know often a lot of people ask for pictures to have a closer look.

There are so many fabulous products to chose from but today I am going to start with the 3D flower. This is possible one of the most versatile dies I have ever worked with and I have so many ideas in my head for future use!

This first one was made using a baby food jar. I have simple wrapped garden twine around it. I have die-cut the 3D flower from Hessian and two from paper and adhered them using the glue gun. The inside of the jar has small decorative stones and I have used the flower, heart and butterfly from the starter kit. These have been adhered to kebab skewers and placed in the stones. These would make great name places for a wedding table or just as decoration at a dinner party.

The second make was a Hessian bag that I have added lots 3D flowers cut from felt.  I used a rainbow theme and kept all the flowers to one side.  This bag has been so popular and I have had so many requests for people wanting these as their Christmas present!

Create and Craft #2

Finally I added lots of these flowers to cocktail sticks and placed in a mini sweet bucket.  Again these would be cute as mini table decorations or wedding gifts for the guests.

Create and Craft #3

Tomorrow I will be back with some samples from the Tim Holtz Caged Bird Die but until then…

Happy Crafting!

    Hello Katie
I really enjoyed watching your show with Dean. You were very calm and the things you made were beautiful. Am I allowed to ask you what your nail varnish was – i loved the glitteryness of it!
I hope you will be on c and c again soon, it was nice to see some things made other than cards and I loved the way you used the tim holtz flourish.
    Good luck with baby 4.
