Cricut Create-a-Critter

| Blog, Cricut

Happy Monday!

I have been doing something I have not done for ages!!

I actually dusted off the Cricut and created some cards! I love, love, love my Cricut and just wish there were more hours in the day so I could use it more often.

Well, this thought got me thinking … I know dangerous or what!!

I am going to go though (and no doubt buy some more) all of my cartridges and each month feature some cards on my blog using this cartridge.

I had to start with my very favourite – Create A Critter. I just again love, love, love this cartridge! It has so much to offer and I never tire of these cute little critters!!

Today I am featuring the Monkey and the Bear but I have already cut the Whale for another post later in the week!

For each card I have used papers from Doodlebug Snips & Snails Collection. I just adore Doodlebug papers and try and sneak them into lots of my projects!

This littler bear is so sweet and looks great in any size.

My first card is an 8 x 8″ scalloped square and of course it has to feature my favourite thing – bunting!!

This 6 x 6″ card has a Kraftcard base which works so well these designs and papers.

Again I have used Kraftcard, this time a 5 x 7″ and made the main focus point of the card central to really stand out.

And finally my little monkey card!! I have created a pocket for the monkey so that he can be removed as often children love to keep the cute little critters!

I am now off to finish some magazine commissions before starting on my Whale creations!

Have a lovely day whatever your doing and happy crafting.

TIP:Try cutting your critter from patterned paper. It gives a lovely texture really makes your critter stand out.
