Saturday Sketch #2
As you can see I have made the heart 3D to give the card some depth.

Saturday Sketch #2

Products

12 X 12″ Paper – Echo Park – Love Me
Red cardstock
Turquoise cardstock
Grey cardstock
Twine
Bunting Punch – Stampin’ Up!
Mini Heart Punch – Stampin’ Up!
X Cut Nesting Die – Scalloped Heart, Heart
The Steps

Step 1
Trim Turquoise cardstock slightly smaller than the 8 x 8″ Scalloped Card.  Layer the Love Paper on top.

Step 2
Cut a Square of Red Card 11cm x 11cm and mat the Heart Paper onto it.

Step 3
Cut another square from Red cardstock 13.5cm x 13.5cm.  Layer on it Grey cardstock and then the Check paper.

Step 4
Adhere the 2 squares to the base square.

Step 5
Die cut 1 Scalloped Heart from Grey cardstock, 2 Hearts from Turquoise cardstock and one Heart from Red cardstock.  Score all the hearts apart from the Scalloped Heart through the centre and adhere together.

Step 6
Cut four flags of bunting and adhere to the card base as shown in the sketch.  Use Twine bows at either end, and punch hearts to go in between each flag.

Step 7
Wrap Twine around the centre of the square where the Heart will sit.  Adhere the Heart to the centre of the Square.

Step 8
Add the Love Me sentiment.

Step 9
Adhere the base to the Blank White Scalloped Card.

As always I love seeing your creations! Please email me any pictures and I will share them on my blog. Please feel free to leave a comment or contact me if you have any questions about this or any of my other creations.
